Curricular Coaching
In remote villages, the availability and quality of Education are insufficient to date. As a humble start, we started free coaching centres in 2016. Every year about 120 students (Class V to VIII) from surrounding villages attend these at our main centre in Khiri and about 75 primary School students at three satellite centres at nearby villages. More than 70% of our students hail from SC, ST, OBC & other minority communities.

Education for the poor and needy is one of our primary projects under which Free coaching is provided with help of local teachers on honorarium basis. The Mission intends to develop and strengthen its capability to give quality teaching with project-based learning and digital support.
Since its inception in Dec. 2016, the Mission started coaching centers in the village “Nat Mondir” pandals.
With generous support from well-wishers we have been able to construct 2500 sft Prayer Hall inaugurated on 27th January 2019, on a piece of land donated by the people of the village. This enabled us to cater to the needs of a larger number of students and also offer healthcare services.
We are managing the teaching activities by repurposing the prayer hall as classrooms with movable partitions. This allows the children to study comfortably despite the rains or harsh sun. However, the space is limited to accommodate all class activities. The environment it becomes noisy too. Therefore, we are looking forward to better the facilities and seeking funding support.
We aim to run such centers in many further remote villages in the nearby areas under this project in future. We also intend to streamline and expand on high school coaching centres in near future as building space, man power and funds become available.
Computer education
Computer literacy is essential for modern times; however, the village students have remained largely deprived from acquiring the necessary skills. For this purpose, we started computer education for a select group with two computers received through donation.
More computer and construction of computer room will help us to enlarge our activities as funds become available.
Online teaching
Online education has become a norm at the present time due disruptions caused by Covid-19. However, the village students have remained largely deprived of such modern facilities due to affordability of mobile phones or computers. For this purpose, we started online classes for whole class group, conducted by expert teachers from Kolkata. The basic facility created with a LCD TV, computers and internet connection allowed expanding the classes beyond Khiri.
We seek teachers who are willing to volunteer their time to teach remotely to bring in modern education to village.
Physical Training
The Veda’s declare- The truth cannot be realised by the weak! Physical strength must go hand in hand with intellectual, emotional and spiritual growth for development of a balanced personality. With this in mind and to inculcate these habits right from a young age we conduct Yoga training sessions every day in the morning before starting the coaching classes.
We intend to make facilities for some sports like kho-kho, hand-ball, Kabaddi, etc and also board games like chess in future as our horizons expand.
Drawing & Sketching Classes
All work and no play makes James a dull boy! We have started a Drawing, Sketching and Handicraft Classes once a week to encourage children to express themselves through these activities. It is real joy to see these little ones totally engrossed in the shapes and colours- the colours and figures that reflect their aspirations, hopes and so much more…
