Regular Free Medical Camps
Vivek Vikas Mission regularly organises:
- Student health programmes – Health and well-being are essential for education. For this purpose, students’ health check-ups are organised for VVM students. Free preventive medicines and vitamins are distributed to them. In addition, under our Gopal Bhog Project, nutritious food are provided every day.
- Medical camps – Periodic medical camps are arranged for the villagers of the adjoining areas: by well qualified Registered Medical Allopathic Practitioners of various specialties like Dental, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Paediatrics, General Physicians, and Physiotherapists.
- Homeopathy Clinics – Weekly homeopathy clinics by a qualified homeopath offer consultancy services including free medicine for the villagers from the adjoining areas.
- Eye check-up camp – monthly eye checkup services by qualified Optometrist are arranged for locals including our students.
These are steered by our current Medical Team members and the list is sure to grow longer with many more doctors willing to come forward to join hands.
In the near future we intend to set up an organized Primary Health Care unit in this area with provision of well equipped Ambulance for transfer of the ill patient after stabilization to the nearest decent secondary Level Hospital.

Medical Support to Chronic Disabled at home
The people of Khiri & Ramchak village informed us of five very ill patients who were unable to attend Medical Camp on that account. Doctors of our Mission therefore conducted Home Visits to attend Five such patients. It was a rather moving site of chronically ill patients left helpless due to poverty and lack of affordable Medical support locally. We decided to provide free medicines and other medical equipments to help the care takers look after these patients. Also, we took these patients to nearby hospitals in hour of need in our limited resources. It’s a matter of great satisfaction that two of these patients have almost recovered with proper medications and sympathetic care. There are many more such patients in need of care at home. It is our endeavour to reach out to these patients and offer whatever help possible.
Adopt a Patient
We are starting this project under which a donor adopts (=gives funds for) a specific patient for 12months for medicines &/or medical aids etc and we- The Mission- deliver on the donor’s behalf to this patients at their door-step on a monthly basis. The donors will be encouraged to keep in touch with their patient.

Free Student Health Check-up Programme
Dr. Rakesh Paul- our Peadiatrician, during Medical Camps identified certain 30 children who were particularly mal-nourished, Anemic, and in general poor health. We therefore decided to adopt these children under the Student Health Programme through which these children are given free health checkup ( record of which is maintained with us) and treatment along-with high protein nutrition on weekly basis at present.
Homeopathy clinic is organised weekly for the benefit of our students and villagers from the adjoining areas.
We feel there is a lot of potential to undertake Health Awareness Programmes and Medical & Dental Check up -through local Schools in many villages.
Our Mission is to organize and expand on these activities in future. Our Children- the Future of our Nation- need to be looked after much better than at present.
